Accessibility Statement
MedSimAI is committed to providing a product experience that is accessible to the broadest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Accessibility Commitment
We aim to make MedSimAI usable by people with a wide range of vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive needs. Our current accessibility target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
- MedSimAI targets WCAG 2.1 AA conformance for the primary product experience.
- Accessibility work is implemented in the main interface rather than behind a separate accessibility-only mode.
- Automated accessibility checks run for public and authentication flows in CI, with protected workflow coverage expanding on the same release path.
Conformance Status
- Current status: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA while remediation and validation continue.
- Independent review: MedSimAI is working with Allyant as its external accessibility review partner.
- Technologies used: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, JavaScript, and modern browser accessibility APIs.
Known Limitations
- Keyboard-only validation is still being completed for protected instructor, admin, and encounter-management flows.
- Manual screen-reader validation is not yet complete for every complex workflow, especially voice-session controls and grading surfaces.
- The VPAT / ACR refresh is in progress and has not yet been reissued for the current release.
Accessibility Roadmap
These targets reflect the current delivery plan for accessibility work already underway.
